# Disabling reminder notification

Reminder notifications remind attendees who have bought tickets of your event of the event date and time before it happens. By default, reminder notifications are enabled for newly created events. To disable reminder notifications for any event, follow these steps:

1. In your Starstream dashboard, make sure you are in the events tab.

2. Scroll down and click on the event you want to disable its reminder notification.

3. Go to the Event tab.

4. Scroll down to the Control Ticket Reminder section and uncheck Enable Ticket Reminder. Click Save.
