# Customizing event ticket

The event ticket is included in the email or SMS sent to the attendee before the event. You can customize both Email and SMS tickets separately to look different. This article is divided into **customizing email ticket** and **customizing SMS ticket**.

## **Customizing email ticket** <a href="#jk8bq3yhb39p" id="jk8bq3yhb39p"></a>

To customize your email event ticket, follow these steps:

1. Click on the event you want to customize from the main dashboard.

2. Click on the **Customize Ticket** tab.

3. On the Customize Ticket section, click on the green **Customize Email** button.

4. The screen that shows the email editor is loaded, with many choices to customize the event ticket and the whole email through which the ticket is sent. You can [learn more on how to use the editor in the how to use the email editor article](/starstream-ticket-customization/the-email-editor.md).

5. Below these customizations, you can find a preview of the ticket and the ticket email, make sure that it looks like you want it, then click **Save**.

## **Customizing SMS ticket** <a href="#otf5qhs12zkv" id="otf5qhs12zkv"></a>

To customize your SMS event ticket, follow these steps:

1. From your main dashboard, scroll down and click on the event you want to customize its ticket SMS content.<br>

2. Click on the Customize ticket tab.

3. In the Customize Ticket section, click on **Customize SMS**.
