# Customizing sender email & name

Your sender email is the email used to send tickets and other notifications to customers. The sender name is the name of your company in the emails. This is how to change your sender email and name in Starstream:

1. In your main dashboard, click on the **Settings** tab.

2. Click on the Sending Settings sub-tab. In the ‘Edit sender email for Starstream tickets’, click the edit button on the top right corner.

3. The section is expanded.

4. Type your business name in the ‘Sender Name’ field and your company email in the ‘Sender email’ field. If you want to avoid your emails being spammed, don’t use a gmail address as a sender email.

5. If you want to reset the Sender email to Starstream’s default email, click **Send with <tickets@starstream.app>**. Click **Submit** after you finish editing to save your changes.
